PS Plus October 2026 Lineup Confirmed, Includes Newest Mafia Game
PlayStation Plus Game Catalog includes the return of Guerrilla Games' Horizon sequel
On Wednesday, Sony Interactive Entertainment revealed the lineup of games joining the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog in October. The latest Mafia game, Horizon Forbidden West, and more will be available starting Oct. 20.
Mafia: The Old Country is a prequel set in early 1900s Sicily and inspired by the origins of the Sicilian Mafia. Play as Enzo Favara, who becomes entangled with the Torrisi crime family. While there's plenty of crime to do and people to shoot, Mafia: The Old Country also address real-world labor issues and poverty that affected Italians in the early 20th century. "Mafia: The Old Country is a sobering reminder that tough times still create a breeding ground for exploitation today, just as they did in Sicily," Polygon's Giovanni Colantonio (a proud Italian) wrote in his 2025 review.
